Emergency Electrical Booking – Terms and Conditions

Emergency Service Scope

This service is for urgent electrical issues that require immediate attention, such as power outages, tripping circuits, or unsafe electrical conditions. For non-urgent work, please use our Small Jobs Booking Form.

Availability and Response Time

  • We strive to respond within your selected time slot. However, unforeseen delays (e.g., traffic or ongoing emergencies) may occasionally occur.
  • Emergency bookings are prioritised, but availability is subject to demand and confirmation at the time of booking.

Booking Confirmation

  • Your booking is confirmed once payment has been successfully processed.
  • You will receive an email with your confirmed time slot and details of the attending electrician.

Payment Terms

  • Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your appointment.
  • Any additional work or materials required during the visit will be quoted separately and must be paid at the time of service.

Cancellation and Rescheduling

  • Cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment time are non-refundable.
  • Rescheduling is permitted up to 12 hours before your booked time slot, subject to availability.
  • No-shows or failure to provide access to the property at the booked time will result in the full fee being retained.

Access Requirements

  • Please ensure someone is present to provide access to the property at the time of the booking.
  • If we are unable to gain access, your appointment may need to be rescheduled, and additional fees may apply.

Scope of Work During Emergency Call-Out

  • The attending electrician will assess the issue and, where possible, complete a temporary or permanent repair.
  • If additional materials or work are required, these will be discussed and agreed upon before proceeding further.

Safety Priority

Your safety and the safety of our team are our top priority. If the issue cannot be fully resolved during the call-out, the electrician will make the situation safe and arrange a follow-up visit, if required.

Liability

  • While we make every effort to address your emergency promptly, we cannot be held liable for delays caused by factors beyond our control.
  • We are not responsible for pre-existing issues or further faults unrelated to the work carried out during the emergency visit.
